Durbarry Quraishiyah (Mauritius)

Quraishiyah never learnt to swim as a child. She sometimes entered the river of letters. But inadvertently, she is today drowning in a whirlpool of alphabets, words and expressions. She had been taught that by adding words, we get a sentence, and she learned that words can become music - as sweet as a lullaby, as sad as a chant or as heart-rending as a symphony. Swallowed up, she discovered that words can draw a sun, create a flood, produce a crashing thunder or paint a rainbow.
