I just attended in ZDF-Kultur a concert from the group *Westlife*. Beside other songs they sang "You raise me up". That, I think, fits to your poem.

music should be free and alive to come to all people, to create emotions, to start love, to inspire human. Maybe poems are a kind of written down music.
