Words ... unsaid
 
 
By night and day
I refuse to say
the words you want to hear,
because I fear,
doing so would take my ease away.
 
In sleep and privacy
you still haunt me,
my conscience doesn’t come to rest.
The best would be
to cut you off my memory.
 
Good-bye then dearest friend.
I stretch my hand
a last time out for blessing,
guessing
my love is at an imaginary end.
