À la rive d’étang, jusqu’à la pointe du jour,
l’oiseau grisolle sa chanson d’amour.
Sanglotant, se plaignant, de douce harmonie
son chant résonne de la laîche touffue.
Le beau ramage touche tous les cœurs
et met en rêve l’écouteur.
