Zul Ariffin

A closer God

I have sinned, my Lord
From the day my life is in my hands
And till the day I return to You

I have never forgotten where I came from
And to whom I return to and
What awaits me when angels pry my hands

I anticipate the day I return to You
Despite surety that Hell awaits me
For don’t we only punish those
That we deemed as our own
