Jennifer Daniel

Darling

Darling
Can you hear me
Where are you
I can’t see you

It’s so empty here
So dark
So cold
I miss you

I’m so lonely down here
So maybe I could
I can!
Yes, I will come
And we’ll be together again

The sky above me
I see your smile
I hear you laughing
Darling, I’m coming

I can hear it
So far away
Coming closer
Only a few more metres between you and me

It tries to brake
Closer, closer, closer
Screaming brakes
It’s on top of me

Now I’m here
Now we’re together again
Now nothing can separate us
And I will always love you
