Valentin Schering

geometry of broken hearts

then you cut corners on the aisle,

did a moonlight flit and took my smile
before i even did.

lost in blues and ocean waves,

reduced me to tears, dripping down the flowstone caves
of your love and fears.

and i try to find the tiny line.

disoriented, wasted crime.

running in circles till my life formed a sphere.

missed the turn to find back here.

now drown my heart in black ink

to listen what words it’ll cry,

to hear what songs that sink

into blood and bones, goodbye.
