Norman Möschter

They are shooting

They are shooting.
They are shooting.
What I can hear
is loud and clear.

It makes *bang*
*bang* soldiers' slang
*bang* bullet's shot
*bang* *bang* blood clot.

They won't stop shooting.
They won't stop shooting.
All around me bullet holes
in the walls and in the souls.

*bang* bullet shatters
all that matters
in our *bang* lives
*bang* nothing thrives.

*bang* *bang*
*bang* nothing thrives anymore,
bullets shatter the very core.
What *bang* they fighting for?
