Silwe Stoll

Retrospect

Swallowing flames
bickering jets of air -
He who eats the fire
and plays with elements
of the earth

forces us
to go near
Though some never
wanted to, never
asked to look and gaze

As spectators at the spectacle
in union with
the elements, but still
not part of them
pay their respect
