A Chubby Tale

Off my green three-wheeler time to wave
A rubber tooter good bye
1984 Bells rang holding daddy’s hand
‘You be good now’ he said
Boys and uniforms Balls and nets
Trinity and I were
And I hear it squealing maybe just
Another kid riding
Boys and looks Fists and fags
Thought I could make a friend
And I can hear it squealing maybe me
He’s leaving just another kid riding
Found a friend called Chubby but they
Grabbed him Palooka in my way
How could I save him
And I heard him squealing wish I was dreaming
Off the bike for a boyhood ride
From the classroom to the darkroom
From the Christmas myth to a boy’s suite
Cos there are boys and boys
Sissies and real ones
Will he forgive me
Remember him squealing but I was standing
Cos there are hard ones and Hard-On - s
Porn stars and soccer boys
One’s a Bull called Pitt
Another’s just hit
And every day I ride down that playground
But I was standing waiting for a carnage sound
Nothing here
Every day I can hear him squealing
Just like then standing with my trinity
Will he forgive me
Will he forgive me
Will he forgive me
Will he forgive me
