THE WATER GUARDIAN

… Under their ruby and diamond auras, shining blindingly, I saw them coming;
I took and wielded my crude Celtic tongue, and patience, and courage,
and light yet to be deciphered;
but with my heart burning I took them to the spring of living water,
and from him they drank;
[while, I watered my laurel,
moreover, I lit my lamp]
... we said goodbye right next to the curb of the air,
where the pure white rose thrives,
where everything is path and the worlds depart in all directions;
... I am watching over the virtue of the water
and it is night;
the archons of fire drink at dawn.
