Heinrich Baumgarten

Dreamaholic's Lullaby

Dreamy eyes, sleepy face, here comes the night.
Get into bed, my dear, turn off the light.
Now the day is done. Rest and calm down.

Sleepy eyes, dreamy face, here is the night.
Get rid of everything, sorrows and plight.
Thinkof butterflies hovering by.

Dreamy face, sleepy eyes, what do you see
Looking into yourself, thinking of me?
Set your mind afloat, give in to sleep!

Sleepy face, dreamy eyes, cobwebbed in peace,
Drifting in eiderdown, breathing release.
Thoughts like foggy bats favour your dreams.
