AND THE VALKYRIES LOVE IT

... if from my body and with his eyes I look,
if between its threads I snatch, sing and love, suffer and die,
It is through its Champs de Mars where I redeem and fight my battles;
my body collects the mirrors, the fallen violets,
anxiety and joy
[death]
... like an unfaithful echo, instructs darkness,
and yet keep the quantum fires or divine serpents,
the sacred science, the immortal light and the valkyries love him;
… I will go away and let it fall like a snowflake, like a branch or honey, like dew,
and with its last glow or light,
I will be back;
… my body and I recognize each other;
inveterately, the leaders of the war foresee and fear us.
