Liza Wick

You understand

when you had died I went to school
and I saw in people´s eyes
they did not understand
I know you understood
at your funeral I could not cry
and I saw in people´s eyes
they did not understand
I know you understood
at your grave I broke down
and I saw in people´s eyes
they did not understand
I know you understood
at the gathering after your funeral
I could not stay
and I saw in people´s eyes
they did not understand
I know you understood
I do not wear black clothes
and I see in people´s eyes
they do not understand
I know you understand
because you see me cry
in the night when it is dark
and noone is around to judge
