Arne Bister

No Dandelion

Your windows to the soul invite
a gentle poem, true not trite.
Beneath the sun a sapphire sky.
Above a smile which does belie
each sacrifice enshrined therein.
Your beauty shines from deep within.

The essence of your picture shows
no dandelion, but a rose.

This is actually a lyrical comment to a picture of an artist I admire. Her name is Antje Duvekot and she is a great singer/songwriter. One of her songs is called "Dandelion". But Dandelions have no thorns :-)Authors comment
