Justine Knolle

Not the End of the World

Know the waves of complication,
In breakers crashing from a fetch,
Smell the scent of trepidation
For when the cliffs from shores will snatch
Heads of horses leaping in foam
Their trampling hooves leaving the Past
Cold Seas to call Pegasus home
The years of wandering. At home. At last.
