Edmund Huditz

Refugee

Coming from the darker shore,

poor blighter, donīt ignore,

that welcome in a whiter land

is very faint in its extend.

Especially if you dare the sea,

the Mediterranean might swallow thee.

Without emotion there might be read:

Boat capsized, a hundred dead.

So Europeans want you to stay,

even to your personal dismay,

on a continent, from which theyīve always wanted

commodities, not people, haunted.
