Young People

Young people, don't walk
around with no chip on your shoulder,
it just makes the summer hotter; it just
makes the winter colder-
When you're carrying that chip on your
shoulder, you're
carrying a very heavy load-
walking down
a very long road,

Young people, catch the howling wind
and ride its back, then you' ll see
blue skies when the clouds turn black-
Young people,
catch the howling wind
and take a ride-
get that chip off your shoulder,
You'll feel better
when you're on the other side.
