AND SCARLET ROSES
Slowly,
unhurriedly,
imitating an alcyon
among the silver billows,
descends and sinks,
in the depths of the heart,
thy fragrant breath of Love.
It is as gentle as a breeze
that delicate days awaken,
and scarlet roses,
and tender violets,
and the joyous chirping of swallows,
and of the tenuous vermilion season,
its deep emotions.
