Stranger in the Night

Stranger in the night you were my lover
tender soft and bright we loved each other
and it was so right for strangers in the night

On and on we went enjoying every moment
full of love and joy knowing that we were made for each other

Suddenly one day we both did not want it
our love was not any more granted
and our ways drifted apart

Ever since that day you are still in my heart
as if we never went apart

Maybe once one day the shadow will drift away
showing your longing which will bring us close again
knowing from now on that we will never part again

Stranger in the night
it will be so right
