Peter Kröger

Bequeath

My darling bequeathed it
to me
so smart

we're falling apart

gotta live gotta live

from the loss of my heart.

See these troubles in vain

will I try to explain

all the pleasures

now easily barred.

Loved your sparklewhite teeth

checked the gain

smelled the rain.

Mend my ease

if you please

and bequeath! yes bequeath!

end the strife

of this marvellous life.
