Holding out my hand
maybe you will take it
holding out my hand
and I will never stop it
I will never learn
and never I’ll give up
my resolve’s too strong
won’t accept that the door is shut
Maybe things can change
and maybe they can’t
I will just stay there
holding out my hand
And in my deepest soul
there is a hope
as big as a black hole
like a hopeless illusionist
I’m chasing times
when I think I’ll be happiest
The suffering is real
and suffering is strong
maybe we need to respect
our heart’s tongue
Maybe we need to be
strange and risky
maybe we need to be
bold and frisky
I will just stay there
holding out my hand
maybe you will take it
maybe our hearts will mend
