THAT LAST

... that my last word is not "goodbye",
nor a border for life and knowledge,
and not and never a closing door to the golden spaces;
... because I have already contemplated the unity of things and time,
the dense voice of death and this thirst for love, the one that is worth so much to me
for the fight and flight of the resurrections;
... that my last gesture is not for conformity and the solemn rite,
May my gesture flee from the ruin of ruin;
... ah, look at my spear: I am forging it for those who die and for the wounded;
... therefore, take heed who rises up and overcomes fear,
and who, from among the dead, throws the corpse from his body and continues the fight;
... for these, for these will be my rebellion, what I have, what I still carry, that last thing.
