MY OWN INQUISITION [compelling youth]

... I'm not going to stop;
I need to fight with God, with ruins and trenches,
take my body, light bonfires in all its corners
and stand up before death;
... I need to dare, have friends and enemies,
invade the night and tear it down,
rebuild the lights and originate the world;
I need the hot and cold land,
the deadly thirst of someone who craves and drowns;
I need another skin to wear
loot the blood and see
that the bow in consciousness has broken;
… I need to know that I am a total god breaking and putting together;
I need to exercise life;
I need to feel that I am a rough and useful human being: a woman, a man.
