Homeless Soul

Long ago, there was a lonely soul,
searching for heaven, s gate as its goal,
it hovered throughout the atmosphere,
that echoed with its sobs, drenched with fear.

Against whirlwinds struggled the lost soul
and played in this contest a poor role,
it succumbed under that huge power,
jumped downwards from the highest "tower".

It was far away from heaven's gate,
roaming about, suffered from grim fate,
until it merged into shooting star
- revived as a cat, as black as tar -
