The Symbiotic Nature of Loving And Being Loved
What is more important: to love or be loved?
Which wing does the bird need to soar in the sky?
The right or the left? Both are required thereof,
For balanced and free, the bird can truly fly.
In loving, a heart finds its purpose and light,
A flame that ignites and brightens the way.
Yet being beloved can soothe every plight,
And shine through the dark like the dawning of day.
To love is to give, to nurture, to care,
A selfless devotion that blossoms and grows.
But being adored is a gift beyond rare,
A treasure that each yearning spirit well knows.
Thus, love and be loved, like wings on the breeze,
Together they lift, together they ease.
