That's How It Always Started!
Heed the Signs!!!
It began with changes to the constitution,Media reined in, made to toe the line.
The judiciary, once fair, now faced pollution,
As parties banned, dissenters met the brine.
Children, innocent, were fed indoctrination,
Opinions, once free, now faced suppression's ban.
Reporting centers, tools of manipulation,
And laws, ‘optimized’ to crush the common man.
Yet heed this warning, lest history repeat,
When freedoms fall, and tyranny takes flight.
Let not democracy's song face its defeat,
Stand firm 'gainst darkness, keep freedom's light.
For when the warning signs appear so clear,
'Tis time for action, to protect what's dear.
