The Trump Trap
Heed now the warning, citizens dear,Of what comes near if Trump takes the steer.
Chaos and turmoil, his reign will bring,
Let wisdom prevail, let freedom ring.
Gone are the norms that once held firm,
His path disrupts with each new term.
Scandals and trials, a daunting spree,
Yet he escapes with impunity.
Pence becomes Vance, a shift profound,
Critic to loyal, now Trumpward bound.
Paul once opposed, now Saul he plays,
Supporting the man in all his ways.
Questions of justice hang in the air,
Can laws hold him, or do they despair?
The Court grants immunity, far and wide,
In trials ahead, he will turn the tide.
Power and pride, his guiding star,
He leads us astray, he leaves a huge scar.
Remember the past, the lessons taught,
Leaders of virtue, for whom we fought.
Integrity, honor, should guide our land,
Not the whims of a single man’s hand.
Seek out the truth, beyond the guise,
See through his myths, his crafted lies.
For in your hands, the future lies bare,
Protect it well, with vigilant care.
A nation's spirit, its heart and soul,
Depends on leaders who‘ll make us whole.
Reject the tyrant, the despot’s call,
Stand firm together, lest we all fall.
Preserve our values, uphold what's right,
Guard freedom's flame, keep justice in sight.
