September-Blues

As the days grow shorter, don't tell those with September blues how beautiful and colourful autumn will be.

They can already feel autumn as they wander through the sun-dappled woods.

Cats purr in their dark, autumnal timbre, sleepily licking their paws, blinking, already dreaming of a nap by the heater.

The birds' excited high-pitched spring chirping has turned into sonorous twittering.

Trees and flowers, still in their fresh colours, sway gently in the light breeze.

The last fluff of feathers drifts across the pond, coots and ducks no longer afraid of the swans that now glide leisurely across the surface, occasionally nudging the fish with their beaks.

Parasols flutter slowly in the balmy breeze.

Melancholy
makes you forget your summer dreams.
