The Gilded Fist of Greed

Awake, ye throng whose labour shapes the land,
Whose toil sustains the rich man’s shifting lies.
The masters hoard what honest hands have spanned,
Their towers rise while justice fades and dies.

Behold the rockets blazing through the night,
Not for the stars, but wealth’s unyielding claim.
A thousand satellites maintain their sight,
To mark the world and tighten greed’s domain.

Elections bend beneath their endless gold,
Their power twists the nations to their knees.
No judge remains unbought, no rule upheld,
The law itself subverts to wealth’s decrees.

The news they own, the networks they command,
Where truth is buried deep by crafted tales.
A billion screens distort at their demand,
And honesty before their power fails.

Their yachts devour the oceans in their path,
Their private jets corrode the fragile skies.
Their endless fleets parade in gilded wrath,
While earth succumbs beneath their reckless lies.

The climate groans, the seas and forests burn,
Their factories reduce the earth to waste.
Yet blame they shift to us at every turn,
While feasting on their endless, lavish taste.

Still higher climb their walls to block the sun,
Still fiercer grow the weapons they prepare.
Their reign persists while unity is none,
And hope dissolves beneath despair’s despair.

But folly lurks within their boundless pride—
The power they have stolen holds no core.
A billion hearts, unchained and unified,
Can tear their empire down forevermore.

Rise up, ye many! Break their gilded fist!
Let freedom’s voice erupt, a storm begun.
No throne endures the will that won’t desist,
And no tyrant survives the rising sun.
