PROPHECY

… they will fight, they will fight and build democracy in their lands,
they will tear down their old houses, their old languages, their old religions,
and with faith and reason they will emerge into the air,
- to freedom -
to love,
the light of the world;
… and when they perceive the pure and living essence of the sun,
ah, then, putting them aside, they will unite their laws and nations, their republics,
and the grail of being will burn in their hearts;

with its ten thousand falls, ten thousand silences and ten thousand resurrections,
but if the work is great, destiny must be great if the light,
the flower and the kingdom are ductile]
… and even as they instruct themselves, for ages the truth will hover over the waters,
- it will cleanse them, it will comfort them -
but, in the end, the burning fire will inscribe its name.
