DECIDING

…that whatever you touch, you heal,
that whatever you look upon, you ignite, you acclaim, you resurrect,
oh my being, and may peace bake whatever you desire and whatever you think,
and may it set forth,
and may it arrive,
and may it be;
… moments arise when, decisively, one must decide between life or death,
face the intimate spears of the sun, sustain its fire, and clarify the flames
in the deep and atavistic solitude of the chest;
…but do you see it, do you hear it?
Joy comes from afar, seeking you, and now its breeze tinkles,
now its elixir calms,
vivifies,
shines;
…be mine, be mine, do you remember the sickness, the fear, the evil, the darkness???
oh, yes, remember them, remember them, they were spinning wheels of mortal and human blood;
But, oh, oh most loving, if your fate is one of love, forgetting is divine.
