Cherry Blossoms in the Eternal Wind

.
.

When the cold north wind blew
I still gave you hope

soon we will

walk in the cherry blossom grove
You held my hand tightly
and smiled peacefully

Just look
the flower buds are opening

towards the spring sun
and I will sit wordlessly
under
the trees
until all the blossoms have blown away
as wordlessly as the eternal wind
that carried your soul home

Kirschblüten im ewigen Wind:

Als der kalte Nordwind wehte

machte ich Dir noch Hoffnung

schon bald werden wir

im Kirschblütenhain wandeln

fest hast Du meine Hand gehalten

und friedlich gelächelt

Sieh nur

die Blütenknospen öffnen sich

der Frühlingssonne entgegen

und ich werde wortlos

unter den Bäumen sitzen

bis alle Blüten verweht sind

so wortlos, wie der ewige Wind

der Deine Seele heimgetragen hat
