Soulless

Soulless I feel deep inside
Blinded by your crushing light
Let me suffer, there is pain
Nothing in for you to gain
Loneliness is my domain
So please oh please so do refrain
from holding me so tenderly
forgotten days, just you and me
You left me behind, without a word
I cried for you, day and night unheard
Love was not enough to keep us bounded
You felt trapped, we were unfounded
One day you just left
For me it felt like theft
The love you seem to share
It's all lies, it's so unfair
To come back to me, so full of pride
All that's left of me just wants to hide
You destroyed me, pulled me apart
Ripped my heart out, left me to start
anew, without you, I was a hull
Being with you made me so dull
You filled me with soulless desires
erased me, purged my innermost fires
Your light was never meant to shine
A decoy to lure, that you are mine
It was never love, it was possession
Feeding of my deep depression
I have to love me more than your illusion
All the good and the bad, just delusion
