Justine Knolle

Dancing for Death

Not the waltz, the tango, or any other
dance of style,
but around the pole she danced
for Death’s greedy guile.
The void inside was compensated
by the heat and steam he generated
with his lecherous stare
on her body, now almost bare.
Her soft, female curves
Pleased him.
The perve.
He waited for the final act,
so he could conclude his evil pact.
He placed his hand over her mouth,
held her tightly by her chin,
and, without mercy,
committed his carnal sin.
