Natascha Sifnakis

Pray the Lord

I pray the Lord
My way to lead
Back into your open arms
Had to turn my back on us
Wishing for you to come
And give me back your trust
Ten thousand secrets
I tried so hard to keep
Reality was never on our side
We managed to escape
One moment at a time
I tried to learn
Your name to hate
For that I couldn't wait
Crying my eyes out on the ground
Wishing for you to seek me out
Just wanting to be found
I pray the Lord
A dim tomorrow to turn
Into the brightest yesterday
