IN SEARCH OF MEMORY
… I don't come with the light in my memory, but to search for it,
to keep my roses awake,
to wound myself and know where the pain lay
that I still carried;
I will cast it into the river's oblivion,
not so that it may die,
no;
so that it may lay
white pebbles and black pebbles, I will cast it into oblivion;
… but will there be joy…? And if there weren't,
and my life only produced black pebbles,
why stop and face a sun of solitude,
and inside, alone,
lower my head
and wait
and wait…
