Tammy L C StClair

it hurt so much

A wound so deep in my heart,

I feel there is nothing else you can do to break it apart,

It bleeds, it hurts, vision is blurry

Eyes filled with tears, oh it hurts,oh it hurts,
don't know what to say

right now I feel like I'm loosing my mind

Want to cry out loud but I can't,

Thinking back way back when,

You broke my heart before and left mehanging, now look at you!
Yes You've done it again.
But this time You didn't really do much!!

It's what you didn't do that's why it hurt So much..

Way more then before thought I had closed that door,
but all the while it was wide open, very few words were spoken

I tried to forget, and at times I really have

Was happy I thought and yes many times I evenlaughed

But I know now it was only to cover,
cover the pain inside my heart way back when I wrote my brand new start,

I should have moved on right? Should have walked away

But instead I was hoping, try to play off the pain

But today I've seen your picture, yes today I've seen your face

With a note baby who loves you? Her telling you back I know you do

Right then I knew I've lost the fight, I knew I had to go

Just yesterday I started to write you, letting you know I miss you so

It doesn't matter now ,cause now I know that she will have your heart.

I know it cause the way you smiled, it's tearing me apart

But I have to stop before I get much deeper into this

Want to cry out loud, but I can't!!!

Thinking back way back when you broke my heart
before and left Me hanging, now look at you!
Yes You've done it again.

But this time You didn't really do much

It's what you didn't do that's why it hurt So much.
