Kristina Korus

Sunset

Floating down the river
water whispering from deeper grounds
all sounds blurred to one image
all feelings washed away.

I've strayed from here to there
and back but lack of luck
distorted my destination

I lost my way and fell
into the sprinkling fall

The moon's laughing for the world
and my sanity which shimmers fluidly
in front of me.
Languished language lingers with me for a while
and makes me laugh and cry.
Until waves seize my mind..

The timeless ocean encourages me, pulls me down
and I drown into insignificance and eternity.
