Meike Schrut

"Cupid" 1 from March, 1990

If reality is so dreary
what must change...
Does friendliness and love have a too high price?
Nightmares catch up me every now and then,
lead over in the reality.
The expectations which begin before the door,
end
in the sunshine or
drift away in the cold wind...

Lives between reality and imagination
The lives as if I was a straw in the wind
Float there between joy and grief
Silence and loneliness
Melodies are there.
Music, not from truth weaved!
These are lines, from o, I do not know where from have come?!
What has already sense...
What is of the life, what of the death worth!
Would not be another world friendlier?
(oh, to me dreads the level of the dead souls.)
River of the old legend.
With a coin in the mouth
if I want to go on so early still no trip.
Flee, however, in my world of the unfulfilled dreams.

Under comment there is the 1st part of the poem, as soon as I can change it, the poem appears in such a way as it should look real. Mistake in the programme admits at the moment nothing else.
