Discovery

The most frustrating thing
Is not even knowing
Who you are.

You may know a little bit,
Like what's on your birth cerificate
But what does that matter?

What do you believe in and ponder?
What fills you with awe and wonder?
These are your lifelines.

Each answer is a piece of you
Of your entity and true
self. Your soul.

So many are lost and blind
Unable to realize they cannot find
their way in the dark.

But the light can be
just as painful if viewed suddenly
so take it in increments.

Uncover what you care for
And thrive off of it. The more
the better.

Uncover your soul
And find yourself.
You've been waiting.
