It Just Takes Time

You're afraid of
being wide awake and
you're afraid of
being sound asleep-
You're afraid of being
alive
and you're afraid of
being dead
When the night
is dark and your
demons appear,
You've just got to
let your courage
overcome your
fear-
Sometimes the valley
of darkness and despair
is so deep and wide,
But don't let your ego
trip make you miss
your red carpet ride-
The mountain may be
big but  it gets
smaller the higher
you climb, aint nothing
can't be done, it just takes time
you can't win no race, if you never
run, and you can't cast no shadow,
if you aint standing in the sun-
The mountain may be big but
it gets smaller the higher you climb,
aint nothing can't be done, it just takes
time-
