Morning Rain

Thunder at daybreak, thunder at daybreak,
then the morning rain comes
pouring down-
Clouds cover the dark sky
Clouds cover the dark sky,
then the morning rain
comes pouring down-

Comes pouring down and we
see the raindrops fall, comes
pouring down and we see
the raindrops fall, Sometimes
they're big raindrops and sometimes
they're small-

Makes you want to watch out
of your window and stay inside,
Makes you want to watch out
of your window and stay inside,
And sometimes you might shed
the tears that you've never cried-
