Shoot Me Down

You pull the trigger

Clear the room

You shoot me down

Before high noon

Don't look back

As you run away

The time is now

Is it your day?

I bought the gun

For you not me

Who filled the chamber

It's a mystery

I made a mistake

Took a second guess

You didn't wait

For more not less

I tryed to tell you

You took your aim

Last words I spoke

It was your name

And it will replay

When i am gone

You will hear it

In every song

Score the game

Without a thought

Maybe you win

And i get nought

But don't look back

To count the cost

Because in the end

The win is lost
