White half moon
in the afternoon
floats in the sky.
Rosy clouds run by
illuminated by the setting sun.
 
 
The hazel catkins
wag their tails.
A bird begins
to sing, then sails
across the sleeping land.
 
 
The fields withstand
still frozen, lying silent.
But on its wing
the bird is twittering
knowing about approaching spring.
