Summertime

When the work ends

and the relaxation begins,

When the days are longer

and the sun is brighter, 

When I feel free

and the birds sing their songs,

When I go out happy

and return home content, 

When there is a thrill to leaving the house 

and a thirst for adventure is reason enough to leave, 

The time when all is new

yet all is old,

When there is a feeling of lightheartedness

and endless delight - summertime.
