Monika Schmeinta-Maier

Time

day after day
the cycle of life
pulsates in you and me
loved in a second
forgotten in the next second

but never really
torn from the cosmos

worn out dreams
Desert tears
tamed vanities
repotted jealousy

in between our smiles and our silence
