VERTEBRATION

...come on, son,
enter and negotiate with death;
... we have, son, to win,
We have to go in, see where the bridges of life crack
and know why the forces and illuminations all fit
in a drop of water;
... son,
We have to snatch from death a day, a moment, a heartbeat,
build the light of a sun and then continue,
continue facing the sickle, facing the thick night and give us light, see ourselves,
understand what this being is that is dying
with no other arms than the amnesia of the world and the atrocity
from the cold;
...my son, it is not easy, no, and it never will be;
but have and take my strength:
the fire of my embers and the pure water of my heart.
