Maddiie Vali

Believed in a Fairytale

I’m sorry if I’m me,

I’m sorry if that scares you,

I’m sorry if I am not who you want me to be.

Is it not okay for me to be proud?

Is it not okay for me to like myself?

Is it not okay for me to do what I want to do?

I thought that I was to follow my dreams,

I thought that everything was my decision,

I thought that people supported it all, supported me.

I’m sorry if I believed in a fairytale.
