Green Shore

I stand on the green shore
in the pale morning light,
dreaming of our bygone days
and the fortune of last night.

Loudless tears are dried up
by the veils of morning haze.
Sunny rays spray in my eyes
the gayness golden blaze.

Our broken love is floating
to the sea far away,
also my dreams were torn
on this troubled day.

Grünes Ufer

Ich stehe am grünen Ufer
im blassen Morgenlicht,
träume von vergangenen Tagen
und dem Glück der letzten Nacht.

Stille Tränen werden getrocknet
von den Schleiern des Morgendunstes.
Sonnige Strahlen erreichen meine Augen,
die goldene Flamme der Fröhlichkeit.

Unsere zerbrochene Liebe treibt
zum weit entfernten Meer,
auch meine Träume wurden zerstört
an diesem schwierigen Tag.
